Christmas cards...

Okay...so I keep trying to construct the annual "Christmas letter" in my head. All I can come up with are sad, depressing details of the last year. March, got the big "D" (diagnosis) and autism officially entered our home. September..Dad got the big "D"...then I think..we'll just do the picture. And it all wears me out just thinking of it. I need permission to take the year off. Not because I'm ungrateful, not because I don't have hope in the One...but because I'm just weary.

Can you say pathetic?????

NOT pathetic - I won't say it, sweetie. I've one-upped ya with taking the past TWO years off due to (2005) just feeling like having a break and (2006) still not having any adoption news and being depressed about it. You have my deepest permissions and empathy.

P.S. I write every day (on my blog). Yet, couldn't think of a word to start my letter, so I gave up this year too. Shower people will get thank you letters, everyone will get a picture. Anyone wanting more can find their way to blogland or send me an email. ;-)

Just send the picture card. That's enough for this year.

Snap that picture, go to the Walmart photo site and choose the card background. Order. Receive cards in 2 days.
Or not.

You have permission to take the year off. I did it last year and I felt like the biggest rebel--but, oh, what freedom!
