Oh, that makes me want to cry..I hope you find something that you love. Have you tried the maternity store...what is the name? There's one in Rosedale, one in Tamarack....I thought they were actually pretty reasonable..and very cute. Would help if you had a name, sorry. OH, and tonight. You are adorable in anything.
For Christmas one year I received a package of plain ol' white socks from my sister (I requested them out of necessity) and cried my eyes out. My sister was like, "There...socks, not. a big. deal." I just needed new socks so badly and was so stinkin' thankful. I bawled, really.
Oh, Katie. You are such a wonderful mix of tenderness and hunter woman..it is so much fun getting to know you. Please let us know if you ever need socks...we'd all buy you any kind you wanted!!!
Sistahs...you make my day. Heartless wench? Now that's funny. Not that I agree...no fighting. Tis the season...smiles everyone!
I do know the difference between they're and there by the way. I was just eating lunch and typing at the same time. sorry. Sheri, I'm good on socks, for now. I'll let ya know though. Thanks.
I cried in the shower, during breakfast, after roomtime, folding laundry, when Buzz rescues Woody, when Larry Boy rescues Junior Asparagus. I tell ya. I am a basket case. Blaming the Setting Captives Free bible study.
The other day I cried while reading aloud a chapter from "On the Banks of Plum Creek." Pa had walked over a hundred miles east to find work. Ma and the girls missed him and hadn't heard from him in quite some time. Then suddenly one day he appeared. Tears everywhere.
Any Christmas movie -even if I have seen it a hundred times. Its a Wonderful Life - or what about the Hallmark commericals during the movie Hollis Woods? Or or what about the deer that wouldn't play with Rudolpf. Hummm, think maybe I might be watching too much tv? Farf
Ok, Ok, I'll admit it--I cry at EVERY wedding I see. Whether I know the people or not. Even the ones on TV. When the groom goes to give the rose (or whatever flower or gift) to the bride's mom, oof. Or when the dad kisses his daughter as he gives her away--puddle city.
Great conversational post, Coffeegirl! My hardest cry: the book, 'The Time-Traveler's Wife'. Absolutely inconsolable over an hour. Close seconds were, 'The Fox and the Hound' (I was 5), and that movie about Alzheimer's Ed and I watched recently (Ed, what was it?). Oh yeah - I hyperventilated from crying at the movie 'Big Fish' too.
I cry every time I see The SOS Players do the Drug Circles and Drug Ropes skits. Or any skit, for that matter. The part of the movie version of "Phantom of the Opera" when Christine hits that really high note. Weddings, births, most hospital scenes (haven't been able to watch ER for years). A really good, insightful email from a friend who cares.
I confess, I would rather laugh so hard I cry, but it is certainly cathartic.
My dear Sheri, Old Yeller would be the dog movie in question. Where the Red Fern Grows...pass the kleenex. When someone wins a car on the Price is Right I can't stop.
The last "silly" cry I had was when pregnant ith Isabel. I had had just gotten out of the shower while we were at my mom's house. A glop of wet vent dust fell on my head and I screamed, went almost hysterical and then cried for about an hour! My mother was devastated at having cause such a trauma to her daughter. JK about my mom, the cry was real.
Oh, you are all just lovely. I NEVER say that word...but doesn't it just fit? Excluding our Ed friend....the commonality of women and their emotions...as frustrating as they can be..it somehow binds us together.
I craffed during the part in "Steel Magnolia's" when they were at the cemetary, Sally Field's character had just buried her daughter...and she was angry and was yelling and crying that she wanted to hit something. Then, I think it was Dolly Parton...said, "Here hit Wheezy" (played by Shirley McClaine). And for some reason...out of sobbing came extreme laughter. There's my one and only sniglet...craffing.
Thanks for joining me on this endeavor of silly tears.
I often seem to comment too late, when everyone has moved onto the next post, but anyway... Today I cried because I like everything to have its place and I couldn't reach the top shelf in my closet...and because I can't reach the awkward storage cubbie in my basement to put anything away, and because I don't want my house (or lack thereof) to be my idol, but I'm frustrated with my 2-bedroom town home for my family of 5. (Nathan sleeps in the closet & will do so until the basement is finished.)
The hardest cry I've had in a long time: when I finished the novel "Safely Home" by Randy Alcorn. Reality check about what really counts in this life!

I cried in the maternity section of Target yesterday.
And GAP maternity.
And in my shower.
(I had a little trouble finding an outfit for the Office Holiday Party tonight.)

I cried when I peeled onions. Ya feel sorry fer me? I know I do.
Never mind her, she's a heartless wench.
HHHHAAAAA
I crack me up.
P.s. she's standing right here watching so no one can tattle...no fighting.

What is it with crying in the shower?
I've always done that. It's really soothing for some reason.
The other day I cried while reading aloud a chapter from "On the Banks of Plum Creek." Pa had walked over a hundred miles east to find work. Ma and the girls missed him and hadn't heard from him in quite some time. Then suddenly one day he appeared. Tears everywhere.
And Erin, when I was pregnant I cried in the Cub cereal aisle, in Ruby Tuesday at the salad bar, and at the PBS show "Zoom."
This is a great conversation starter, Sheri.
Oh I remember crying BECAUSE I was crying during my pregnancy with Anna.

I can't watch any shows where the animals suffer...Black Beauty..forget it. What's that dog movie where he dies in the end? Can't do that one either.

V - Away From Her. Good movie!
I cried after Bicentennial Man too . . . over the loss of $7 and 100 minutes of my life I would never see again.
(Movie snob!)

My dear Sheri,
Old Yeller would be the dog movie in question.
Where the Red Fern Grows...pass the kleenex.
When someone wins a car on the Price is Right I can't stop.
I cry at gameshows, too.
I LOVE to see people that happy and excited.

Dolly also said, "Laughter through tears is my favorite emotion."
(or something close to that_
Oh and every time they "move that bus" on the home makeover show.
I love that show...
As I was browsing the comments, I was going to ask, "Has no one seen Extreme Makeover: Home Edition"?!?
Way to go Kristi Noser!!
