January Blues

Seems like everyone I meet has them, or feels tired, kind of blah. I feel like if I open my mouth and say anything, you might as well say, "Blah, blah, blah" right after it. The only way I know to get rid of my whining is to have a thankful heart. So, here's my first attempt.

I'm thankful for....
a garage that my children can throw their winter garb on floor
an entry way where sand collects daily
children who have voices and can freely express their emotions
a school that is teaching my children the discipline of homework
an age where I personally, can feel every emotion known to the human existance
baggy shirts that are now in style
people who care about the details of my life
responsibilities because without them, that would mean I was alone

There..done whining.

Speaking of shirts, that one you had on last night was really cute--even with, y'know, stuff on it.

Hey Sheri, I'm going to try to be thanful about things, too. January is one of the most difficult months of the year for me. February isn't much better, but at least it's a little closer to spring. Hang in there with me, friend.

I think you always look great, Sheri.
I'm also with Laura--thank goodness for disposable diapers, clorox wipes, and modern and oh-so-disposable feminine products!
Love you!

I second the comment that you always look great. I know that's just what we get to see, but I think part of it is that your heart isn't constrained by the clothes you wear. :)

You shine, baby.

Thanks, guys...
I second all of the modern conveniences we get to use...and I have just experienced the Swiffer..I hear ya...what a time saver....

Speaking of clothes, when the fireplace guy came today to hook it up, I had my workout outfit still one and my t-shirt said, "It's all about me."

Oh well.

I'm thankful for our new "room", where we can all hang out..it's a family room..Randy size. I'm thankful for space.
